Children Need to Hear the Gospel

“And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.” Mark 10:13-16

The sweet song “Jesus Loves the Little Children” contains simple but undeniable truth.

Jesus loves the little children,

All the children of the world.

Red and yellow, black and white,

They are precious in His sight.

Jesus loves the little children of the world.

The Gospel is Simple

Many times others can complicate the gospel of Jesus Christ, but it is very simple. It is so simple that even a small child can understand it! All it takes is understanding that you are a sinner, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died on the cross for the sins of the whole world (including yours and mine), and that He rose from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father, ever living to make intercession for us. All that anyone has to do is confess their sin to Christ and trust Him to be their Savior, and He will forgive their sin and give them eternal life.

Salvation is a Gift

It is important to understand that salvation is a gift! You cannot buy it, and you cannot earn it. You only need to ask for it, believing in your heart to receive it. You may have been given many gifts when you were a child, be it for your birthday or for Christmas, but you will never receive a gift better than the gift of eternal life.

Sometimes we are not satisfied with a gift we have received, and we want to return it. But that is not the case with the gift of salvation! And this is a gift that cannot be taken away, no matter what. Once you are born again, you are a child of God from that day forward, and will one day live in eternity with Him.

Children Live in a Confusing World

These are days of immense confusion in our culture because sin always brings disorder! One of the most devastating consequences of this confusion is its residual effect on the next generation. The ripple effect of error has created a tidal wave of destruction.

Children are now growing up in a world that questions gender and loses its identity. When you do not know who God is you forget who you are. Only the Word of God can cut through this chaos and bring clarity. We should all have a deep burden about the world view that now inundates our young people. In an age of indoctrination we must have a renewed emphasis on sound Bible doctrine.

Children Need to Know God Loves Them and They Were Created On Purpose

For this reason, we want to make you aware of a children’s book that is geared towards children to let them know that God loves them and that He made them just the way they are, on purpose.
